Charities Cadence is Supporting this May!

Giving back means giving of ourselves.

Whether it be volunteering our time or participating in fundraising initiatives, Cadence is committed to the communities where we all work and live.  This week, in honour of our Client & Community Appreciation month, Cadence is “giving back” to support the causes that mean a lot to us.  With monetary donations, we are supporting the following organizations.  The Raymond James Canada Foundation, is matching funds, as part of RJ Cares month.

  • Tanya’s charity of choice: Dress for Success
Dress for Success Vancouver is a community empowering women into the workforce by providing them with professional attire, career services, and skills development programs.

  • Brendan’s charity of choice: BC Cancer Foundation
B.C. Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of B.C. Cancer. Every dollar they raise stays in our province to advance research and innovations to care for the people of B.C.  We know that one in two people in our province will face cancer in their lifetime and they’re igniting progress to break down cancer, piece by piece, in the labs and clinics.

  • Seth charity of choice: Dixon Transition Society
Serving the community since 1973, Dixon Transition Society helps to reduce the impact of domestic violence by providing a safe haven for women and children. Transitional housing programs, counselling and outreach services form a continuum of care to help women and children live a life free from violence.

  • Jason’s charity of choice: Toronto Sick Kids
The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country.
