Seth Allen is the founder of the Cadence Financial Group. Since its inception, Seth has been recognized as one of the Global Top 50 Advisors with Raymond James Financial, Inc. Managing risk and preserving capital are two important objectives for investors, and in today’s global economy, they can be more challenging than ever before. Over the years, Seth and his team have had the privilege of helping clients manage the complexities of their wealth through a careful consideration of suitable investments and a strategic combination of both traditional investment solutions and sophisticated alternatives. Seth is a voting member of the Raymond James Investment Advisory Strategy Group, which is responsible for setting the long-term strategic view on both capital markets and asset allocation for Raymond James Ltd. Outside of his work at Raymond James, Seth is a member of the Ned Davis Research (NDR) advisory board, an external group representing various segments of the wealth management space, which contributes their expertise and thinking to current and future NDR wealth product development. As well, Seth is a member of the Local Advisory Committee (LAC) that provides advice and recommendations to the Venture Exchange (TMX Group) on all policy, operational, and strategic issues that have substantial impact on public venture capital markets, including the role of the Exchange.
Seth stays busy with many charitable endeavors. He is the Director for Prostate Cancer Foundation B.C., an advisory board member for the Beedie Endowment Fund (SFU), a SFU mentor and an active contributor to several charities and foundations including B.C. Children’s Hospital, Dixon Transition Society, and STAND Foundation. When away from his office, Seth enjoys fly fishing, yoga, and adventure travel. Seth and his wife, Ana, share two Maltese dogs, Lola and Francesca.
